Satre Prayer Requests
1) For health and safety in general. In Dallas we are as much at risk from traffic accidents and H1N1 flu as anyone else - not to mention those Dallas allergies. And those tropical diseases can flare up even long after you've left the tropics. 2) For grace and strength from God to handle all the stress in a healthy way of life. Partnership development is especially stressful, as we must look to God and yet tell people of our need for partners to fulfill God's call on our lives.3) For our family life. Please Keep praying that the Lord would help us to be more consistent and intentional in our attempts to teach our kids God’s Word and to train them in and the way they should go. This holds true whereve we are in the world. 4) For God’s grace for Scott as he prepares a linguistic article to be submitted to a linguistic journal, Lord willing, before Thanksgiving. 5)For God's blessing onour Cameroonian partners like Bernard Kuete (head Ngomba translator), and Bernard Mbouzokenia as they continue the translation and literacy work among the Ndaa people in our absense. 5) For God’s Spirit to soften and open the hearts of the Ndaa people and Ngombale people to get them ready to receive God’s Word in their own Ngomba language. 6) For God's continued provision. Pray that God will help us make ends meet as we try to do our part in getting up to full support. 7)Would you pray with us that the Lord would give us advocates who will introduce us to people and groups (like churches and Sunday School classes) that are open to the Lord's calling them to joint our team? 8) Would you pray with us that God will give us at least have of the lacking monthly financial support we need before the end of 2009?
