Teaching at Ukarumpa International School
These days I can be found hanging around the high school campus of Ukarumpa International School, where I teach French, Modern World History, and World Geography. It is a great place to teach. Talk about diversity: I interact with at least SEVEN different nationalities every day in my classes. Pray that God would give me wisdom for integration and creative ideas for the diversity.

Teachers Are Needed All Around the World!
There are over 40,000 missionary kids around the world. The need for teachers is great! Every year there are 600-900 open positions in over 100 countries. Missionaries cannot effectively serve on the field without good education for their children. In fact, 13% of missionaries that leave the field, leave because of a lack of educational opportuniies for their children. This is a preventable loss...if we just had the help to give them! Understanding the Word
For a translator, there are few things as exciting as seeing someone discovering God’s Word for the first time in their heart language. The head translator of an African language project, said, “I had a chance to translate for my own people and now they understand it much better than reading God’s Word in another language.”
