Youth Camp
On July 20th, my youth group will be headed to the SouthWest Province to learn and grow together at Youth Camp, which happens every 2 years nationally. I am praying that God will give us fresh ideas for the new year, and that we will find ourselves growing closer to each other and closer to our Lord! I also pray for health and safety in being the only white person with a weak stomach and need for sleep among thousands of Cameroonian young people who go to bed late and get up early! It will be an experience!

Knee
That the doctor would see what needs to happen in the MRI, and that I would be kind to my poor knee during this time. SLOW DOWN!

My darling Students
I am here to serve a very lovely and special population of the mission community. I have no doubt that the Enemy will attack little ones, and that God can protect them from him. I have seen spiritual battles in the lives of my precious students. I pray that God would give families and those working with their children wisdom and dedication in prayer to serve the needs of these beatiful children that he loves even more than we do!
Every child is different, and I pray that I would love them where they are, and have the strength every day to pour myself out to them, all in the name of my Jesus who poured out his life for me!

Please pray for Danny
I have a close friend here who has blessed me in her availability to talk, her joy in the Lord, and her strong faith. Here life is hard...it is hard to raise children and get them educated well on a meager salary. My friend, Sandy, has a child who is deaf. His name is Danny, and he is 8 years old. I love Danny, Sandy, and her husband, who has been my Cameroonian Daddy here. Danny atteneds a school for the deaf in Yaounde, but it is such a challenge in so many ways. I just pray that Danny will grow up to be a strong, healthy, Godly young man. I pray that Sandy and her husband would have wisdom in raising him, and have patience, as he is VERY active.
