Does anyone know what JAARS stands for?  Originally, JAARS stood for Jungle Aviation and Radio Services.  But now, JAARS has so much more than its airplanes and radios to support missionaries.  In fact, we joke that JAARS stands for Just About Any Related Service!

One of those services is logistics.  Did you know truck drivers can be missionaries?  Bible translation requires strategic logistical support, coordinated by the JAARS shipping and receiving department. 

JAARS truck drivers serve as missionaries themselves.  They support Bible translation by transporting supplies and equipment all over North America, even making several trips to Alaska every year!  They also move the household belongings of thousands of missionaries, pastors, and other ministry workers. 

For missionaries serving overseas, JAARS safely ships their supplies and household items.  JAARS doesn’t serve Wycliffe only; she extends her services to other missions/ministries, as well.  

Let’s thank God for the faithful missionary truck drivers and the shipping/receiving support staff.  Without them, supplies would not be delivered and the work would stop.
